Hope derived from faith Unfortunately, I have not been able to trace the origin of this quotation, but someone has said, ‘Hope is listening to the music of the future, and faith is dancing to that music in the present’. I think that is terrific. Obviously, hope and faith are very closely related. Indeed, at times they seem almost interchangeable.
